Private Pilot

The Private Pilot License training is the first step towards becoming a professional pilot and is designed for applicants with 0 flight experience, you’ll learn how to fly a single-engine, land-class airplane on a noncommercial basis from a qualified instructor and take your friends and family on cross-country trips.

What you will learn in our Private Pilot certificate program

  • Theoretical Knowledge:
    Aerodynamics, Flight Instruments, Meteorology, Weather Services, Performance & Weight and Balance, Aircraft Systems, Navigation, and much more.
  • Flight Training:
    Private Pilot Flight Maneuvers, Takeoffs, and landings, Cross-country Flight Planning.

Private Pilot License Single-Engine Rating Requirements:

  • You must log 40 hours of flight time Including:
    • 20 hours of flight training from a flight instructor
    • 10 hours of solo time, 5 of them doing cross-country to include one solo cross-
      country of at least 150 nautical miles.
    • 3 hours of cross-country flying as well as 3 hours of night flying,
    • 1 cross-country flight of over 100 nautical miles (NM) and
    • 10 takeoffs and 10 landings to a full stop at an airport.
    • 3 hours of instruments flight &
    • 3 hours of flight training with a Flight instructor to get ready for your practical
      exam test within 60 days of the exam’s date.
